Gear Review:  Shure SE215

Though it took me some time to figure out how to properly put in and wear these headphones, from the moment they were in correctly I have been nothing but enthralled.  Crystalline sound and subtle frequency enhancements make these headphones an amazing aural experience.  Admittedly, at first I was skeptical as to how well a pair of in-ear monitors could work for recording, how well they could isolate you from exterior sounds, and how crisp and precise they could sound, and if they could stand up to open and closed back headphones.  Well, the SE215's have surpassed my doubts with flying colors.

Clarity

Clarity
better than extreme isolation, koss, bose, ns10's, heard amazing aspects of my mix that I hadn't before because of the clarity of the headphones.

subtle, but not overly dramatic frequency accentuation.

Comfort
they stay secure in the ear, don't irritate the way cheap in ears do, ex. ipod headphones.  Like the cable behind the ear

Sound isolation- lawn mower, can't hear someone talking to from 10 feet away, and if you have music on forget about hearing anyone's speech from even less than 5 feet.
